We couldn’t find the coffee experience we wanted. So we built it.

Our story

Domonique and Melanie’s story has always had coffee somewhere in the background.

Mel always liked “coffee.” You know the kind — more creamer than coffee, handed through a drive-thru window, with the general assumption that bolder meant better. Then she met Dom, a longtime barista with a serious gift for making it, and suddenly she had two new loves in her life: him and coffee with standards.

Dom spent more than a decade behind the bar, and even after moving into other work, coffee never really left him. Melanie always knew it wouldn’t. She had been saying for years that he’d eventually own a coffee business of his own because some talents are just too good to keep in the kitchen.

Then they moved closer to family and landed in what felt like a very good coffee desert. After Dom made a pour-over for a friend who was genuinely blown away, something clicked: maybe they didn’t need to wait for better coffee to show up. Maybe they could bring it themselves.

Then came Zyair, their third great love, and the one who changed the whole plot. Becoming parents shifted the way they thought about family, time, legacy, and what they wanted to build together.

Toussaint grew out of all of it: Dom’s craft, Melanie’s belief in him, Zyair’s inspiration—and his middle name—and their shared love of good coffee, good people, and creating spaces that feel warm, soulful, and dope.

Turns out, the coffee business Melanie always knew was coming just needed the right moment. And the right little muse.

About our pricing

We price Toussaint as a catered coffee experience, not a cash bar.

That distinction matters. At a private event, the goal is for guests to walk up, order what they want, and enjoy it without thinking about payment, transaction speed, or whether they should skip a second drink. A per-cup model changes the whole rhythm. It introduces lines, checkout, uncertainty around demand, and a very different energy than the one you hired us to create.

It also changes the economics. To make per-cup service sustainable, an event typically needs very high foot traffic and enough actual drink purchases to meet our minimum. In practice, that often means hundreds of guests, longer service windows, or multiple carts just to keep pace. More volume does not always mean a better guest experience.

So rather than building Toussaint around chasing transactions, we built it around showing up fully for the event.

Our pricing reflects the complete experience: planning, baristas, equipment, setup, service, supplies, coffee, milk, house-made flavors, cleanup, and the time and care it takes to make the cart feel like it belongs there. Custom details like branded cups, cart wraps, signature menus, and latte printing can be added when you want to take it further.

Every quote is customized around your guest count, service time, location, menu, and add-ons. We are clear about what is included, what is optional, and what it costs before you book.

You are not paying for individual cups. You are investing in the coffee experience your guests get to have.

Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.
